Eco-label

In October 2003, KH Lloreda received the Eco-label of the European Union2 for its KH-7 Quitagrasas product (ES-CAT/020/001/001), the first cleaning product in Spain to achieve this distinction. Since then, Lloreda has worked on developing highly effective products for consumers while at the same time attempting to minimise their environmental impact.

To this end, the company has now developed five products with eco-labelling:

• KH-7 Quitagrasas (October 2003)
• KH-7 Quitagrasas Cítrico (December 2004)
• ZAS! Multiusos (February 2006)
• ZAS! Baños (May 2006)
• ZAS! Cocinas (October 2006)

The awarding of an eco-label is an indication that these products:

• Reduce or prevent risks to the environment and human health.
• Are highly biodegradable.
• Limit the use of substances that harm marine environments
• Reduce packaging.

In 2005, 80.2% of products sold by KH Lloreda had eco-labelling.

This high percentage is due to the fact that the product with eco-labelling is the company's star product: KH-7 Quitagrasas.

At present, with the three new eco-labelled ZAS! products, this figure stands at 86%.
